Teacher: Sue Gwin

My name is Sue Gwin the Teacher Assistant here at Westchester Parents Nursery School. My experience with WPNS expands further than the 18 ECE credits I have received so far. I am a mother of two teenagers who attended WPNS when they were preschool age. At that time I was a stay at home mother looking for the right preschool to send my children to. When I visited WPNS I knew this was the place for us. As my children grew and moved from one school to the next the skills and experience they received from WPNS has helped them to succeed in our society.

I believe children are wonderful people who express themselves freely when allowed. They enjoy life and can have fun no matter what they find to do. They are creative and eager to learn when given the opportunity. Children are honest, loving and caring. Mostly, children are sponges just waiting to absorb any knowledge that comes their way. I believe children learn by doing and using all of their senses.

I have grown as a person, parent and teacher through WPNS. I hope I can be part of your family’s experience.
